Mr. Jawad has over 25 years of cross-border corporate finance, corporate and business development strategy, and impact investing experience partnering with startups, SMEs and multinationals to secure capital, develop strategic partnerships, and commercialize and scale new products and technologies. Ranging from fundraising and financial modeling to project managing go-to-market implementation, Tariq has led and completed assignments across 3 continents with a focus on engaging multi-disciplinary stakeholders and building consensus across organizations. He is focused primarily on supporting climate tech and healthcare tech companies as well as promoting learning and knowledge-transfer in the media & entertainment industry through FlipNarrative. Mr. Jawad currently develops various social entrepreneurship and community-based programs through CreativityClinic.
After a decade on Wall Street, Tariq founded Bridge Innovation Capital (“BIC”) in Beijing to support companies to enter the China market through joint ventures, licensing and M&A. Mr. Jawad sold BIC in 2017 and established Bridge Innovation Partners in the US to promote cross-border investment and commercialization between US and EU.
